11To help the children understand snow better, Mrs. Diana brought a tray with lots of ice cubes in the middle. She said, %u201cLet%u2019s pretend these ice cubes are like small bits of snow in the clouds. When it%u2019s really, really cold outside, the wetness in the air turns into ice and makes ice crystals. These crystals gather up in the clouds and become snowflakes.%u201dThe children saw how Mrs. Diana blew softly on the ice cubes. Their breath made the ice look frosty and covered in pretty patterns. Mrs. Diana said, %u201cTake a close look. Every snowflake has its very own special shape and design. Just like people, no two snowflakes are exactly the same!%u201d
